Indigenous poets, storytellers, writers, and speakers are invited to share their voices at First Friday PTBO – Open Mic Poetry Night! Community members are also invited to attend an evening of storytelling, creativity, and connection in downtown Peterborough.

About the event
Calling Indigenous poets, storytellers, spoken word artists, writers, and speakers — and inviting community members to come listen, connect, and celebrate Indigenous voices.
Join us for First Friday PTBO – Open Mic Poetry Night on Friday at the Peterborough Community Health Centre. We are currently looking for speakers and performers to share their stories, creativity, and perspectives in a welcoming community space — all experience levels are encouraged to participate. Community members are also warmly invited to attend, listen, and support local Indigenous voices and artistry. Refreshments will be provided
