The Peterborough Community Health Centre is pleased to offer the GLA:D® Canada Program for people living with hip or knee osteoarthritis (OA), or ongoing hip or knee pain and stiffness.
GLA:D® Canada (Good Living with osteoArthritis: Denmark) is an evidence-based education and exercise program designed to help participants improve movement, manage symptoms and feel more confident in their daily activities.
How Can GLA:D® Help?
Research has shown that participants often experience:

What Does the Program Include?
Participants complete:

One pre-program assessment
-
Two 90-minute group education sessions
-
Twelve 60-minute group exercise sessions

One post-program assessment

Please note: Completing an application does not guarantee a spot in the program. Space is limited, and all applications will be reviewed. Individuals who are offered a place will be contacted directly. If a space is not currently available, you may be placed on a waitlist or contacted about a future program.
